And now the Real school begins...

After 2 years of preschool, Sam is officially done! And now the Real school begins. I have no doubt he's going to do well and have fun doing it! He had a preschool graduation, which I personally think is a bit funny and sort of silly, but the kids seem to enjoy it! Sam was really proud of himself up there on that stage singing songs and doing signing his alphabet! We are proud, for the most part, of him and how much he's grown over the past year. He is now reading just about everything, even when he doesn't recognize words he gives it a try anyway. Don't grow up too fast little man, enjoy every minute of just being a kid, You can do anything you want to do, and always know We Love You!

Flowers Around My Yard!

Here are Pictures of some of the flowers in my yard! I think they're beautiful, but gosh they all need ALOT of work. We're getting there, but it's going to take some time to get it all into shape. Anywho, I'll try to name them all, but can't be sure about all of them!

Sam's Build

So I was Facebooking this morning and someone told me there was a kid "Build and Grow" workshop at Lowe's and I thought "what a great idea for Sam". So off we went. I have to say I didn't know really what to expect, but I was really impressed! He got an apron with a nametag, goggles, the kit to build his "box" and a snack afterward. And it was all FREE! Can you believe that? He had an absolute blast and loved every minute of it! I let him paint it when he got home. I have to say we will Definately be doing this again!

Jack has a tooth!

I am kind of Sad to report that Jack has his first lil tooth! I can't even believe it! He doesn't quite seem old enough to have a lil tooth just yet. I'm trying really hard with him to enjoy every single moment of every single day with him being a baby. I almost cried when I put my finger in his mouth and felt a lil tooth in there. I know he HAS to grow but gosh why so fast huh? I knew his gums were swollen, but I wouldn't have thought his tooth was in already. He really didn't have any signs of it at all. He had no fever or snotty nose (his nose was actually better than normal), no yucky diapers, he was a little fussy on Sunday but other than that nothing! And he now has a vocabulary of BA BA BA BA.....lol With his tongue sticking out of course!

Please don't think i've totally neglected my other two children, but Jack is much more fun to photograph these days. Sam is still fun too, but he gets a bit cooky sometimes and Tayler really doesn't like having his picture taken. And Jack won't be this small for very long, so bear with me I have to brag a bit on my baby. I think he's so stinkin cute! And well somedays he knows it! So I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have!

Am I Losing My Mind? or What?

Ok, call me crazy or out of it or whatever... but somethings going on in my house and I can't figure it out. A few weeks ago the window above my kitchen sink was Open, and I shut it... I KNOW I shut it! A few hours later (probably half a day later) the window was Open? How does that happen? So last night Jamie says he never opened the bedroom window (I closed it the night before... before I went to bed...) It was open when I woke up at 2am for a potty break. I was wondering why I was extra cold last night. He said he never opened it! TODAY.... I go in the bedroom after I took a shower and the thing was Open. I asked Jamie if he opened it.. He said no never touched it. So either he's messing with me seriously, or something's going on in my house. Is someone trying to tell me my house smells? Do I have an extra special dog that does stuff when we're not here? Or is someone trying to visit us and that's their way in.. or out? I'm not sure but it sure is freaking me out?

Another Samism!

We were having Breakfast for dinner last night and Sam wanted another biscuit, so of course I get one for him and instead of peanut butter (like he had on the first one) he wanted jelly this time. So I get it for him and hand him his plate, he then says "Mom... You're such a good Wife"

And Well I couldn't help but to share this picture. It was sunny and raining, a normal thing here in Washington! And I went out side and this is what I saw!

Happy?....Mother's Day?

Perhaps it should be called... "Are you content with the monotony of everyday life DAY?" I woke up at 3am thinking I heard Jack, so I rolled out of bed and fixed him a bottle only to quietly go in his bedroom to find him still fast asleep (albeit backwards and completely facing the opposite direction). So I went back to bed only to not be able to go back to sleep. I'm totally convince I can't go to bed before 9:30 or 10 or i'll be up before the roosters and not be able to go back to sleep. I tossed and turned for about a half an hour and decided to get up and make some coffee. I doodled around on the computer for a bit had a few cups of coffee and decided I was tired. So I curled up on the couch and took about a 30 minute snooze only to be woken up by Jamie pulling the covers away from my face asking me "Hey are you asleep? Why are you out here sleeping?" Well I WAS asleep! Jack woke up shortly after (it was about 6:30 and he hadn't gotten up all night). I go to get him out of bed and he's soaked. So I proceed to strip him down and throw him in the tub. Nothing like a good scrub down as soon as you get out of bed right? After he's all cleaned up I gave him a bottle. He was just about done with the entire 7 oz bottle when he sat up, coughed and yacked the entire 7ounces all over both of us. This time both of us had to get cleaned up! I then folded 2 loads of laundry (from yesterday) and started a few more (Jack's bed of course, it was wet too). I also made my own breakfast this morning and cleaned up the kitchen. All of that before 9am. I did get a really cute picture Sam made at school today that he was excited about and made me wait until today to open. I also got a few new plants/flowers from our neighbor that was dividing up hers in her yard which were beautiful! So basically it was just another day for us. Nothing really exciting or extra special went on today!

Sticky No More!

Yesterday I went and bought new drinking glasses. I get them home and was going to throw them in the dishwasher when I realized the price sticker was stuck on the bottom of the glass. Well OF COURSE the paperey sticky stuff is left behind. I really hate when that happens. So, my first thought is ... Call Mom she'll have some kind of answer as to how to get that stuff off. Well I was wrong, she's like me we've read it a thousand times on the internet... "how to take the sticky price stickers off", yet neither one of us can remember. So I did a little research and it said to use Peanut Butter. What? Peanut Butter? well ok, it can't get much worse right? So I did it!

Here are the glasses Before:


Take a papertowel and rub some peanut butter on the paperey sticky stuff and let it set for about 10 minutes or so:


Put a drop of dishwashing liquid on the area to be cleaned and rub with the other end of your papertowel. Run under warm water and rub with a dish rag! And it's ALL GONE!


I have to tell you I was so amazed! It really really worked no sticky paperey stuff at all it was all gone! I was so excited. Can you tell? Excited enough to share it here on my blog! I hope this can be of help to you at some point down the road!!!

On another Note... I thought this was too cute not to share. Jack has been particularly fussy the past few days. He doesn't feel real good and is all stuffy and snotty, and therefore wants to be held alot. Well I was trying to clean up a bit yesterday and cook dinner, so I put him on the floor. He's usually really happy down there and is on the verge of crawling! Well not yesterday he was NOT happy to be down there at all, so Tayler took it upon himself to scoop Jack up and play with him for a few minutes. Isn't this cute!

Avoidance!

Yep that's right I'm avoiding folding my 14th load of laundry of the week! Isn't that nuts? I mean do parents of teenage girls do this much? Gosh I really feel sorry for my mom if that's the case. It's like the dresser got the flu and decided to yack up all the clothes in the hamper, more than once... Speaking of Flu, Sam was tested for the "Piggy Cold" yesterday, we still don't have results of that yet today. Judging by his summersaults off of the chair, the doing laps around the house and the lashing of the Indiana Jones whip, i'd say he's on the mend and is just fine. Jack however decided he couldn't let Sam be alone in the sickness. He's all stuffy and snotty, but sleeping well, now if only he could keep that up.
So I was sitting here on the computer earlier doing some research stuff for MOPS and look what I saw...
