So I was Facebooking this morning and someone told me there was a kid "Build and Grow" workshop at Lowe's and I thought "what a great idea for Sam". So off we went. I have to say I didn't know really what to expect, but I was really impressed! He got an apron with a nametag, goggles, the kit to build his "box" and a snack afterward. And it was all FREE! Can you believe that? He had an absolute blast and loved every minute of it! I let him paint it when he got home. I have to say we will Definately be doing this again!

I do not know if there is another mother out there that is as proud of their daughter and grandchildren as I am. A mother always hopes she does the right thing when raising her children, but we never know until they are away from us. I know it is not always easy for you Wendy, you do not have the luxury of your family around to help, and yet you have done a great job, a job that you can NEVER retire from. Just keep doing the wonderful job you are doing, enjoying every minute, good or bad, calm and crazy. One day the house will be empty and you will so many memories to reflect back on. You will keep them all locked up inside your heart, drawing on them when you need them.
I am so proud of you and the woman you have become.
